A Hilarious Family

A family of five lives in an old alley in Minzhu Village, where every day is filled with bickering. Grandpa writes little poems every day and has submitted them to newspapers and magazines with unwavering persistence for decades. So far, only one of his poems has been published, in an obscure little magazine, but he is still proud of it. Every day, he takes his poems around the neighborhood to read them aloud, putting on airs as a cultured man. Grandma scolds him for being a pretentious old poet, while Grandpa gets jealous of Grandma's fan club.

When she was young, Grandma Meng Guizhi was in a song-and-dance troupe. She has kept her figure and looks in great shape, and always stays on top of fashion. After livestreaming became popular, she started dancing online and accidentally became an internet celebrity with her own fan club, much to Grandpa's dismay.

Mom complains that Dad only cares about his business and never pays any attention to the family. Of course, the person she scolds the most is their daughter, Tian Youyu. Youyu is about to take her college entrance exams, yet she can't focus on studying. She even secretly signed up for an art competition without telling her parents. In the throes of teenage rebellion, she's like a powder keg, ready to set off a family war at any moment.

But what worries them most is that Dad, Tian Yuan, has been conned. He borrowed a lot of money because of it, and now the creditors are at their door.

When this bickering family faces an unexpected crisis, they choose to face it together and find a way to pay off Tian Yuan's debts. Each family member brings their own talents to bear, and they embark on an adventure full of hilarious mishaps.
