Across the vast cosmos, the immortal path stretches on; amid the boundless mortal world, the martial path is fraught with hardship.
In modern-day Huaxia, the ancient kingdom, the lone youth Gong Yuliang stepped out of the savage mountains of the Southern Territory, carrying the ancient martial arts scroll, The Bone-Refining Art. A novice, he was poisoned by a demonic master with the “Blood-Red Soul-Drunken Pill,” then abducted to an underground abyss south of the capital to serve as bait for demonic beasts. How could he fight his way out? Whether he lived or died was up to him alone.
Yet, by a strange twist of fate, Gong Yuliang unlocked the Nine Provinces Demon-Sealing Seal, passed down since antiquity, and released the remnant soul of Chi You, the Demon Ancestor and a vicious fiend feared through the ages! Chi You, the demon of war, was notorious enough to make the gods and Buddhas of the heavens tremble. Was this a blessing or a curse?
The Azure Dragon Ghost Coffin and the Proud Lord's Platform gradually reveal the tangled mysteries of the immortal path. Heaven and Earth are not benevolent; they treat all things like straw dogs. The Six Paths stand mighty, determining the cycle of rebirth for all beings. Where lies the path home for Buddhas, demons, ghosts, and monsters? The martial path challenges Heaven, then drifts onward in a single stroke.
