Project Number One

In 2030, the "Heavenly Palace Project" was launched: twelve enormous magnetic-control rings would be installed simultaneously in the Kunlun Mountains and at a lunar base.

Its enormous investment and lengthy timeline earned it the title of Project Number One.

Lin Xu joined the construction team, a misfit among its members. Working here made him realize that perhaps there was another way to live.
