Scorching Summer

The spoiled, gorgeous Xu Zhexia x the sharp-tongued, refined Jiang Yanzhi

Xu Zhexia is a celebrated beauty in the entertainment industry, but rumors claim her private life is a mess and that she has several powerful sugar daddies pulling strings for her, paving her way to the Best Actress crown.

A sugar daddy backing her? Breaking up other people's marriages?

Xu Zhexia says none of that is true. She's her own biggest patron.

One day, paparazzi report that Xu Zhexia is interfering in someone else's relationship.

The president of the Jiang Group: "That's right. I'm her sugar daddy."

Xu Zhexia: "That's slander! It's all lies."

Late at night, shadows swaying in the trees.

Xu Zhexia is pinned against a wall.

"Madam, would you really not consider experiencing what it's like to have a sugar daddy to lean on?"
