After transmigrating, Chu Huaiyu faced two difficult choices: marry a rotten old man over sixty as his second wife, or marry a dead duke and live as a widow.
Chu Huaiyu chose without hesitation. “I’ll take the dead one! The Duke’s household is rich and powerful. Once I marry in, I’ll be a duchess and enjoy a lifetime of wealth and splendor. I won’t have to serve a husband, bear children, or deal with a difficult mother-in-law. Every day, I can eat, drink, have fun, and enjoy the good life. What could be more perfect? I have to marry him!”
After moving in, she discovered that things weren’t as easy as she’d imagined. Her arrogant, wayward brother-in-law, her spoiled and willful sister-in-law, and all sorts of schemes and plots came one after another.
Chu Huaiyu waved her hand. “I’m an elite special forces soldier. Do you think I’d be scared of a little thing like this? Bring it on. If I ever take a single loss, I’ll admit defeat!”
So she smacked unruly brats, kicked hypocrites, and fought tooth and nail to build herself a splendid life.
Just as she was getting ready to enjoy it, a bolt from the blue struck her:
“What? My dead husband has come back to life? Wait, Your Grace, don’t you look a little familiar?”
The author ruined the male and female protagonists, which is a pity
It's very well written. At least I can listen to it. It's very good. Come on.
This is the one that I have read among the time-travel novels about agents that incorporates the characteristics of agents the most throughout the entire text, but the ending is a bit rushed.
I very much agree with the book review written by [Beauty]. This book does have highlights that make people continue to read it, but it also has very annoying flaws, including inconsistency, and not just a little bit. After reading more than 200 chapters, I really didn't want to read so many mistakes anymore, so I gave up.
I'm really annoyed by the title of aunt. Doesn't aunt refer to concubine? Why would a lady be called aunt by other people's children? Shouldn't I be called aunt? I corrected the typos by myself.
I feel that many plots are illogical, like a child's imagination. Hua Jie and Chu Huaiyu are not so close to each other, and Hua Jie is disdainful. The relationship between the sister-in-law in the family, and Chu Huaiyu's way of handling it is very confusing.
It feels weird that Bai Chuchu calls the protagonist aunt here.
It's well written and I'd love to read it. Thank you to the author for bringing us spiritual food.
How dare a few stupid women be so bold?
Is the third prince stupid? Can you save money without doing anything? Why bother?
