Reborn as Jia Huan

The objective world is the objective world, and subjective understanding is subjective understanding. We are like goldfish in a glass tank. Whether the fish tank is square or round determines whether our "world" is square or round; just like Kant's metaphor of "paper man". "A Dream of Red Mansions" was created in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. Over the past hundred years, Chinese society has experienced earth-shaking changes. As a result, people today cannot understand ancient times, just as ancient people cannot understand modern times. Therefore, there have been many "time-travel" interpretations of history from a "God's perspective", either demanding the ancients with modern concepts, or understanding the ancients with modern ideas. "Freedom of love and marriage" and "monogamy" are products of modern society and contemporary rule of law, while "parents' orders and matchmakers' words" are a general interpretation of the old marriage system. In the world of "A Dream of Red Mansions", although there is a requirement and choice in the market slang that "if a grandma does not marry a daughter, how can she have a grandson to embrace her", it can be called a modification and supplement of the old marriage system. However, for the Jinling Fourth Family-level clan of hairpins and poems, their words and deeds are restricted by strict etiquette, which is different from the market and even more different from modern times. For example, "Book of Rites" records that "men and women will not make friends without a matchmaker", and as "Mencius" says, "If you do not wait for your parents' orders, but the matchmaker tells you, if you look into each other's holes and follow each other across the wall, then your parents and the people of the country will be despised." "Da Ming Law" records: "Marriages are all performed by the grandparents and parents. If there are no grandparents or parents, the marriage is performed by the relatives." Since the Western Zhou Dynasty, the government has set up a special matchmaking agency. In "Chapter 50", Jia's mother "probably wanted to marry Baoyu" to Baoqin, but learned that "he was betrothed to Mei Hanlin's son here that year", so Jia's mother "heard that he was already married, so he didn't mention it." It can be seen that although Jia's mother loves "the two jade children", she will not put her children's personal relationships above etiquette. It also corresponds to the title of "Chapter 54" "Shi Taijun breaks the old stereotypes", pointing out that in the story of the gifted man and the beautiful lady, "how could he know the principles of the eunuchs and scholars of that generation", and explains what the "rules of the great family" are. It can be seen that from the perspective of law, etiquette, morality, reality and other aspects, advocating "freedom of marriage and love" in the world of "A Dream of Red Mansions" is tantamount to the "time travel" taken for granted by modern people. As the saying goes, if you don't understand my poetry, I won't dream of you. To criticize the ancients harshly from a modern perspective is tantamount to a kind of conceit; to understand the ancients from a modern perspective is tantamount to superficiality. Mr. Qian Mu once pointed out in "Chinese Political Gains and Losses in the Past Dynasties" that political history can be divided into "personnel affairs" and "systems", and "people create and revise by people, and they are also personnel affairs"; in other words, human civilization represented by institutions is more of a by-product of reality. We "should not erase history simply based on our current opinions," nor should we take it for granted that "as long as there is an emperor, it is bad politics." Regardless of past systems or ideas, they are more of the "historical opinions" of the times. Just as the "faith" we adhere to today and firmly believe in will also become the "historical opinions" criticized by future generations. But this does not mean that we cannot study the past and understand history. According to the French Annales School's interpretation of history, the so-called "history" is an endless dialogue between modernity and the past. At this time, the bottom line that must be adhered to is the "warmth and respect" proposed by Mr. Qian Mu in the "Outline of National History", "at least not an extreme nihilism towards its country's past history." Therefore, "the present is not the past" is just like what Mr. Fei Xiaotong said in "Country China". City people laugh at country people for "not knowing how to deal with cars", and country people laugh at city people for "not even knowing how to drive a dog." This is self-centered and self-righteous "foolishness" who mistakenly think that others are "stupid". Marriage is different from love. Marriage is not so much the result of love as it is an economic system, or even more like a financial investment. What is "finance", as Chen Zhiwu, a Chinese scholar at Yale University, said, is investment "across time and space." Studies on marriage in Bangladesh have shown that there is a custom of marrying off daughters far away, because under the old agricultural production conditions, marrying off daughters means relief in times of famine, and it is a financial operation similar to insurance. In the same way, China's old-style marriage system has its own historical conditions and development context. It is not about choosing the love of this life, but about choosing a mistress who can manage the family and business, support her husband and raise children internally, and establish strong ties with other clans externally. Regarding the past, as Mr. Chen Yinke said, there is "sympathy and understanding" first, and then there is "understanding and sympathy." It is impossible for people more than two hundred years ago to travel through time to produce modern views, just as it is impossible for us modern people to travel through time to produce postmodern views more than two hundred years later. In the era of Cao Xueqin, Zhi Yanzhai, and Ji Husou, in their eyes, "ethics" did not "have four thousand years of cannibalism experience" and cause people to lose their most noble "true temperament." It was definitely not a "distortion" of people, but a "sublimation" of people. It is precisely because of "rituals" that people are what they are. As the "Book of Rites" says, "By being polite, people will know that they are different from animals." As for the so-called "true temperament", it is actually sincere but not beautiful, and it should not be used as a reason for selfishness, rudeness, and indulgence. Human nature needs to be restrained, words and deeds need to be standardized, and moral character needs to be tempered. Using "the destruction of women" as a reason for "nihilistic" criticism of traditional history and culture actually ignores the complexity of the world. Rights and obligations have always been "multi-faceted", "compensatory" and "integrated". In the book "Nei Wei: Marriage and Women's Life in the Song Dynasty" by the American female sinologist Yi Peixia, she pointed out that during the Song and Ming dynasties, when the etiquette gradually emerged and even the argument that "starving to death is a small matter, being dishonest is a big matter", the stability of women's marriage and property was effectively guaranteed. In other words, if women fulfill their family responsibilities and abide by etiquette, they can be protected by "ethics", and their wealth, identity and status will also be protected by the law and protected by the clan. For example, in "Three Words and Two Pai", "Kang Taishou cuts off the dead child", a widow can become a "high-class person" by observing the etiquette. And because of the social macro-norm of "men are superior to women", men must bear the most basic and important material obligation of "marrying a man to earn a living". To a certain extent, it can even be said that the modern "gender equality" movement is the liberation of men. In the recent hit film "My Sister", a sister who lacks the ability to live independently and cannot define her obligations is torn between pursuing a personal life or raising her younger brother, that is, she has the right to choose. If a brother who lacks the ability to live independently and cannot define his obligations faces a young sister, at least according to the mainstream view of society, he must assume the obligation to raise her and has no right to choose... "Bao-Dai love" is not the product of freedom of marriage and love. As Daiyu said in the "Third Chapter" of the original book, "Now that I am here, I will naturally live with my sisters. The brothers are naturally from other houses and other houses, so why should they go and mess with each other?" And Mrs. Wang said, "He is different from others. The old lady loved her since she was a child, and she was originally a sister." It can be seen that Bao Dai and Bao Dai are by no means "free to marry and love" beyond etiquette, but because of Jia Mu's favor, they have the opportunity to live and grow together. It is because of Jia Mu's authority that they adapt to etiquette and customs. Moreover, Daiyu was only about seven or eight years old when she first entered Jia's house, and there was no relationship between men and women. However, Baodai's buds of love between men and women did not appear until "Chapter 28" and "Chapter 29". As Baoyu said, "In addition to the three people, the old lady, the master, and the madam, the fourth one is the sister." She still puts the personal relationships between children under etiquette. At that time, having an affair against one's parents was a sin according to etiquette. This also corresponded to the fact that in "Chapter 34" and "Chapter 35" Xue Pan mindlessly tried to block Baochai with the words "a good marriage", causing Baochai to "go to the room and cry all night" and Aunt Xue to "fight in anger". This is a serious violation of etiquette and is regarded as "unclean". It is a huge insult to women and can even bring shame to the family. As for the description of "Baoyu's love" in the original book, for example, in "Chapter 29", "The infatuated girl's love deepens and she pours out her love", Baoyu "and Daiyu's ears and temples are rubbing against each other, and they are in the same mood. Now they are a little aware of current affairs, and they have read those evil books and legends", so they "preserved a piece of their mind". Later, in "The Embroidered Mandarin Duck's Dream Zhao Jiang Yunxuan" in "Chapter 36", Baoyu "shouted in the dream" and said "I said it was a alliance between wood and stone", and Daiyu outside the window saw Baochai doing needlework beside the bed, so she "hurriedly hid her body, holding her hand with her mouth, not daring to laugh, and waving her son to Xiangyun." Here Daiyu did not feel jealous, nor did she show any affection for her children. In "Chapter 57", "Hui Zicuckoo's Love Words Test Mang Yu", Zijuan said, "Gold is easy to get, but a close friend is the most difficult to find." This corresponds to the "32nd Chapter" in which Daiyu "has always recognized him as a confidant, and indeed he is a confidant." At this point, as Zhou Ruchang said, "Bao Dai's emotional state has reached its peak." But that's it, no words were expressed, and no request was made to the elders. Regarding Daiyu, to regard her as a "Qiong Yao-style" love-first, frail woman who was born for love is a major misunderstanding of the "fairy lady outside the world". For example, in the "Third Chapter", the description of Daiyu's entry into Jia's house is "unwilling to say one more word or take one more step", which states that "Daiyu has been scheming since childhood", and compares Daiyu with "Yong Xucai" to the talented girl Xie Daoyun. In "Chapter 55" Wang Xifeng's comments on the sisters of the Jia family, they called "Xue Lin" together, saying that both of them had talents in managing families, which also showed that Daiyu had worldly talents in addition to her talent in poetry and calligraphy. At the same time, the characters in "A Dream of Red Mansions" are by no means good or evil, nor are they static characters. They not only include complex human nature, but also record the characters' growth and psychological journey. In "Chapter 32", facing Xiangyun's accusation, Baoyu replied, "Sister Lin has never said these bastard words before." Daiyu outside the house sighed, "Since you are my confidant, naturally I can also be your confidant." However, at that time, Daiyu "had no regard for dust and aloofness", and in "The Fourth After "Chapter 12" and "Chapter 45", Daiyu and Baochai exchanged their heartfelt words. Daiyu said, "I am the most careless person, and I only think that you are hiding a traitor in your heart... I was wrong in the past, and it has been wrong until now." She also said, "I am fifteen years older now, and no one teaches me what you said the day before yesterday." After that, when Daiyu treated the mother-in-law of the Xue family who sent bird's nests, and when facing Aunt Zhao in "Chapter 52", she "hurriedly smiled and gave up her seat," and said, "It's hard for my aunt to think about it. It's so cold that she came here in person." With Daiyu's intelligence and agility, given time, she will become another precious hairpin. In "Chapter 62" Daiyu's comment on "Exploring the Chunli Family", "Our family spends too much... We spend too much money and put in too little. If we don't save money now, we will have nothing to do." This not only shows Daiyu's worldly talents, but also corresponds to Daiyu's "hairpin and Daiyu" style of growth. After Baochai and before Baoyu, Daiyu realized that the Grand View Garden was by no means an eternal paradise. Zhu Jinchai must leave Jia's house and face a new life as a wife and mother. This is not the tragedy of life, but the growth of life. For example, the protagonists in the Japanese comics "Hot-blooded High School" and "GTO" are like fierce warriors on campus, but after entering society, the once-hot-blooded young people will find their own position and assume the responsibilities of being a son, a husband, and a father. As for the relationship between Daiyu and Baochai, they are the two women who are most emphasized in "Dream of Red Mansions". Zhi Pi said, "Although the names of Chaiyu and Baochai are two, they are one person", that is, "Chai and Dai are one". In this regard, Yu Pingbo once pointed out in "A Dream of Red Mansions" that "Chai and Dai are often mentioned together. If the two peaks confront each other and the two waters diverge, each will do its best and cannot compete with each other." One of them has the virtue of "stopping", the other has the "talent of chanting catkins", one is a noble scholar in the mountains, the other is a lonely forest in a fairyland, one is a female scholar, and the other is a female poet. Each of them has distinctive characteristics and has the advantages of the other. In the second half of "A Dream of Red Mansions", Daiyu and Baochai truly become like a pair of confidants, understanding and appreciating each other, and sharing the same pursuit of life. But when faced with Daiyu's worries about the fate of the family, Baoyu, who had been regarded as his "confidant", said, "No matter how he doesn't pick up the slack, he can't stop the two of us." And "Daiyu heard that, turned around and went to the hall to look for the treasure hairpin and joke." At this time, Bao and Dai were already experiencing spiritual discord. If Baoyu was still "an idiot who has not yet understood", then even if they achieved a "wood and stone alliance", the result would probably be a bleak ending. There is no perfect match for each other in this world. It's just two people growing up together and slowly changing for each other, you a little, me a little, day after day, year after year.

It's pretty good. It follows the rhythm of Red Mansions all the way, but it actually has nothing to do with Red Mansions. It's in line with how a normal person would behave in time travel, integrate into the present, and take advantage of his strengths. It's not a brainless novel, but it also has a literary foundation.

It's okay to write, but it's unfinished. You may not earn a lot of money. If you want to see someone pretending to be a slap in the face, don't watch.

As for Baochai, she was dubbed cunning, ruthless, and a philistine because of the "Jin Chai Incident", "You Liu Incident", "Bringing the Blame Incident" and "Golden Marriage". Among them, the most representative one is "Golden Jade Good Marriage". Not to mention that this was a serious crime of violating etiquette and disobeying the clan, and it was definitely not the "true love" or "spirit" that was misunderstood by later generations. More importantly, as Romain Rolland said, "Without facts, rationality is worthless." To advocate the existence of conspiracy theories, sufficient evidence must be disclosed, otherwise the "conspiracy theory" will be the biggest "conspiracy theory." From the perspective of the rules of evidence, "whoever asserts the claim shall provide evidence." That is, the party who claims that the facts favorable to him or her are established bear the burden of proof, otherwise he or she will have to bear corresponding adverse consequences. If the existence cannot be proved, it is presumed that it does not exist. The party claiming that the facts are not established does not bear the burden of proof, because proving "non-existence" can be called a "devil's proof", that is, it is impossible to prove, such as the difficult problem of proving whether Santa Claus exists in the classic Japanese drama "Legal High". Among them, in addition to the research and understanding of ancient history, the most powerful evidence is the text of the original book "A Dream of Red Mansions". In the "Fourth Chapter", the reasons for the Xue family's "going to Beijing" are described as follows: "One is to send a sister to be chosen, the other is to see a relative, and the third is to personally work in the ministry to settle old accounts and plan new expenses." However, Xue Pan personally "means to visit the scenery of the country" and has no intention of marrying the second house of Rongning. Among them, it also involves the show girl system of the Qing Dynasty. According to the "Qing Dynasty Huidian Examples", it can be divided into two systems, the Eight Banners and the Three Banners in the House of Internal Affairs. The former selects the Eight Banners show girls once every three years, either to prepare for the throne of the inner court or to marry the royal family. The latter selects the ones who should serve directly in the palace once a year. Baochai was "selected as a school attendant for princesses and princesses, and as a person to praise talented people", which is definitely the latter. Therefore, it is naturally untenable to expect someone like Jia Yuanchun to seek the position of imperial concubine. Moreover, Yuanchun's appointment as concubine was an unexpected surprise to the Jia family. In "Chapter 28", regarding the rumors of "gold and jade marriage", Baochai "always stayed away from Baoyu", and "seeing that the things given by Yuanchun were the same as Baoyu, I felt more and more boring." This also corresponds to the "Autumn Shuangzhai Occasionally Formed Begonia Club" in "Chapter 37", Baochai's "self-written identity" in his poem about white begonias, "Cherishing the beauty and closing the door during the day". Just like Daiyu would not take the initiative to ask for an "alliance with wood and stone", Baochai, who is a wise woman in ancient times, would not take the initiative to plan a "good marriage with gold and jade." In modern times, one must be cautious when discussing other people's marriage and love. In ancient times, it was even disrespectful to women. For example, according to the "six rites" of the ancient marriage system, you can only "ask for a name" after "accepting", and you cannot randomly ask the name of a woman in the boudoir. This is not discrimination against women, but respect for women. Another example is "The Nightmare Magic Uncle and Sister-in-law Encountered Five Ghosts" in "Chapter 25", Xue Pan was "feared that Baochai would be seen", and later "saw a glimpse of Daiyu, who was charming and graceful, and she had already collapsed there". It can be seen that Xue Pan has not seen Daiyu for several years since he came to Jia's house. These are all reflections of the inner court etiquette. The entire book "Dream of Red Mansions" is shrouded in the mythical background of "Nuwa mending the sky", which enhances the interest and ideological nature of the book, and also reveals a sense of helpless tragedy. Whether it is a "good relationship in gold or jade" or an alliance between wood and stone, the theme of "A Dream of Red Mansions" is just a small part of it, through which the world's human feelings are revealed. For example, the sentence in "Drinking Immortal Brew and Performing the Dream of Red Mansions" in the "Fifth Chapter", "Sighing on the world, there are only a few flaws in it" should be the evaluation of the "good relationship between gold and jade" and "the alliance between wood and stone". This also corresponds to the response of a monk to the stubborn stone in the "First Chapter", "There are flaws in the ointment, but there are many evil things." But "this stone mortal "My heart is already burning, how can I listen to these words?" Like Baoyu, "Idiots have not yet understood", imagining that the Grand View Garden is an eternal paradise, "where you can stay safe forever". When the Jia family was in decline, Tanchun was trying to manage his family, but he still said, "Don't listen to those common sayings, think about those common things, just focus on peace, wealth and honor." The extravagant desire for perfection, the greed for peace and prosperity, and the inability to make progress even when the family situation is in ruins, and the love for the flowers in the water, moon and mirror, will end up "choking the rake with soreness in the cold winter, and breaking the blanket on the snowy night." As far as the "Jinchuan Incident" is concerned, in "Chapter 32" "Jinchuan died with shame and passion", Baochai "heard this and rushed to Mrs. Wang to express her condolences", and there was a comment that he was "good at persuading people and having great insights. I am so sorry that I don't know his feelings...". He was just a third person who did not know the inside story to comfort his aunt, and it cannot be used as proof of ruthlessness. As for the "Youliu Incident", in "Chapter 67", Baochai advised: "My mother saved my brother for him and discussed cooking for him. Now he is dead and gone... I have to leave it to him... There is no need to feel sad for them. But it has been a day or two since my brother came back from the Jiangnan... The guys who went there with his companions have worked hard... You should also invite me as a reward." That's it." This is the same as "Chapter 43", "We can't help but gather earth to make fragrance." Baoyu mourned Jin Chuan while congratulating Wang Xifeng on his birthday. As Baoyu said, "It's just to pay tribute, and then go to eat wine and watch the theater... This has fulfilled my wish... Isn't it the best of both worlds?" In this regard, Daiyu also said, "The water in the world always comes from the same source. No matter where the water is, scoop up a bowl and watch it go away, and just cry to your heart's content." This is actually a depersonalized act that takes into account life and death. Private relationships and responsibilities must be fulfilled morally. The deceased is gone, and the living must also be cherished. As for the "Concubine Yang playing with colorful butterflies in the Cuiting Pavilion" in "Chapter 27", if it can be called "blaming", then the "Embarrassing people will inevitably have embarrassing things" in "Chapter 46" and "The apricot shades the shadow of a fake phoenix and weeps like a false phoenix" in "Chapter 58". Wang Xifeng and Jia Baoyu both "framed the blame" on Lin Daiyu. Can they also be called "conspiracy theories"? The answer is naturally no. But this also reflects the double standards of many spectators. In "Chapter 44", "Unexpected Sister Feng Pours Jealousy", Wang Xifeng "pulled out a hairpin and poked the girl's mouth randomly" to the maid who was cheating Jia Lian, and Qingwen "took a foot of green hair and poked his hand randomly" against Zhui'er who stole the gold. These are all abuses of lynching for the wrongdoers. The former was dubbed "cruel", but the latter was kept silent, and was even given the reputation of "sense of justice" and "true temperament". No wonder the legal proverb goes, "The goddess of justice does not open her eyes." Unreasonable preferences will inevitably lead to unfair judgments. Perhaps it is a routine practice for many people in the Rongguo Mansion to blame some things on these two Yu'er when they encounter trouble. Especially since Daiyu is both a "guest" and favored by Jia Mu, many things have been settled with her, and there will be no more trouble, and no one will pursue it again. In the original book of "Dream of Red Mansions", Cao Xueqin often gives "one-word evaluations" to some characters, such as "sensitive" Tanchun, "xian" Xiren, "gold" Yuanyang, etc. The "one-word evaluation" of Baochai is in "Chapter 56", "Shi Baochai Xiaohui Quanzi". "Mencius" once said, "Bo Yi is the person who is pure in the sage; Yi Yin is the person who is appointed by the sage; Liu Xiahui is the person who is harmonious in the sage; Confucius is the person in the time of sage. What Confucius calls a great achievement" also corresponds to the "wisdom without confusion, benevolence without worry, courage without fear" in "The Analects of Confucius", "following the heart's desires without going beyond the rules", thus it is called "a great achievement". The verdict of "The Fifth Chapter" is "It is lamentable to stop virtue, but it is pity to praise Xucai". Daiyu is used to represent "talent", Baochai is used to compare "virtue", and Baochai is represented by the traditional Confucian gentleman's style. Confucianism takes "benevolence" as its core. The so-called "benevolence" is not simply selfless dedication, nor is it one-sided repaying evil with virtue, but a model of individual cultivation and improvement that takes society and others as the objects of dealing with. You should not be arrogant, let alone reckless. You should take "time" and keep "center", pay attention to rationality, be square inside and round outside, be kind in heart, and have strong principles, but the means should be flexible and not rigid, and there is no lack of innovation and vitality inside. The "gathered" description of Baochai's way of a gentleman is as follows in the fifth chapter: "Be open-minded and act according to the circumstances"; and in the eighth chapter, "Seldom and taciturn, people say he hides his foolishness; he is content at all times; he is self-conscious and clumsy". In "Chapter 32", "Jin Chuan died with shame and passion", Baochai heard the news of Jin Chuan's death and "hurriedly came to Mrs. Wang to express her comfort", and also gave the deceased Jin Chuan two sets of clothes that he had "previously made". He was not taboo about this, which not only relieved Mrs. Wang's guilt, but also comforted Jin Chuan's family. In "Chapter Thirty-Seven", "The Night of Chrysanthemums in Hengwu Garden", when Xiangyun was "planning how to set up the theme for the East", Baochai was worried that she "could not make the decision and how many strings of money would be shared in a month", so he "asked for a few baskets of very fat and huge crabs, and then brought a few jars of good wine to the shop, and prepared four or five tables of fruit plates." This fulfilled Xiangyun's friendship without embarrassing her. In "Chapter 42", "Hengwu Junlan's Addiction to Solve Mysteries", he advised Daiyu that "I am most afraid of reading some miscellaneous books and changing her temperament, which will make her irredeemable." After hearing this, Daiyu "started to drink tea, secretly convinced, and could only agree to 'yes'". Later, he said to Baochai, "The day before yesterday, you said it was not good to read miscellaneous books and advised me with those kind words. I am so grateful! You said it was me who was wrong." The sincere and heartfelt "Lan Yan" prompted Daiyu to let go of her prejudices and inspired Daiyu's growth, which led to the subsequent "Chai-Dai unity". In "Chapter 20", Baochai treated Jia Huan as "he was just like Baoyu in the past, and had no other intentions". This is also the reason why Jia Huan "comes to play when he is in the school for the whole year." Later, after Jia Huan had a dispute with Ying'er, he said, "What can I compare to Baoyu?" "You are afraid of him, but you are all good to him, and you all bully me because I am not raised by my wife." And "crying as he spoke." This is also the first time in the original book that Jia Huan openly tells the grievances and injustices he has suffered over the years. At the same time, Baochai is simple and indifferent and has the look of an ancient gentleman. Wind, as in "Chapter 8", in Baoyu's eyes, Baochai's clothes are "the same color but not old, and they don't look luxurious", as in "Chapter 7", Aunt Xue said, "Bao girl is weird, he never likes these flowers and pinks", and as in "Chapter 7", Aunt Xue said "Chapter 44" In the eyes of Jia Mu and others, Hengwuyuan was "like a snow cave, with no playthings... On the bed there was only a green gauze curtain, and the quilt was very simple." So much so that Jia Mu ordered Yuanyang to put stone bonsai, gauze table screen, ink smoke-frozen stone tripod, etc. However, human growth has always been the product of the interaction between internal and external factors. Baochai was not born with "a kind of heat and poison in his body". In "Chapter 42", Baochai also said to Daiyu, "I am also a naughty person, and I have been troubled by people since I was seven or eight years old." Unfortunately, "since her father died, she saw that her brother could not stay in her mother's arms, so she did not care about writing, and only paid attention to the family affairs, etc. "In order to share the worries and relieve the labor of my mother." At the same time, since the Xue family's "father's death... Several businesses in Kyoto have gradually been consumed." For example, in the "Third Chapter" "Leng Zixing discusses Rongguo Mansion", Leng Zixing described to Jia Yucun, Jia Mansion is now "The population is increasing, affairs are becoming more and more prosperous, there are many masters and servants, there are many people who are rich and honorable, and there is no one who is planning and planning, and their daily expenses cannot be scrupulous." From this, we can summarize the three direct reasons for the decline of the Jia family, namely, "the income does not increase, the expenses If the expenditure is not reduced, the children and grandchildren will be incompetent." If you don't "save some expenses", you will "definitely not be able to take over." Therefore, being frugal and simple is also a duty for the family. As the saying goes, a gentleman "is frugal with use and loves others." As the Analects of Confucius says, "You are a virtuous person, and you will return!" A basketful of food, a ladle of drink, in the back alleys, people can't bear to worry, and they won't change their joy even after returning." As for the ending of Baochai, due to the loss of dozens of chapters of "A Dream of Red Mansions", there are different opinions, and there is even a "ghost origin" "Wu's Dream of Red Mansions" style. In fact, there have been many hints in the previous dozens of chapters that Bao and Dai achieved a formal marriage, and the closeness after marriage is also judged as "the sky is facing the sky, and the snow is shining brightly on the mountains." "Never Forget, the Lonely Forest of Immortals in the World" has been explained. Regarding Baochai's situation after the defeat of Jia Mansion and Baoyu became a monk, Zhi Pi in Qi's preface also said that "I have experienced the heat and cold, know the joys and sorrows, and can be at peace even if I am separated." Even though he is poor and widowed, he can be indifferent and peaceful, and the passing clouds and water are naturally open-minded and peaceful. The greatest friend of truth is time, and the most terrible enemy is prejudice. Prejudice stems directly from preconceptions and fundamentally stems from shallow ignorance. In the past and even today, many classic works such as "Dream of Red Mansions" have been labeled as "anti-feudal", "anti-ethics" and even "anti-Manchu" with many political connotations. Almost everyone who has studied Lu Xun's articles in middle school Chinese classes has personal experience of such over-interpretation. In terms of "Paiman" alone, Cao Xueqin's ancestors were from Zhengbai Banner and belonged to the "Shangsan Banners". After the Cao family fell, it was his bannerman friends who supported Cao Xueqin's life. "Dream of Red Mansions" was also initially circulated in the bannerman circle, and many bannerman etiquette and customs were retained in the original book of "Dream of Red Mansions". Therefore, it is simply nonsense to say that "A Dream of Red Mansions" is meant to "fill the queue." In addition, "A Dream of Red Mansions" is not a love story between a man and a woman that advocates "asking what love is in the world". "Bao Dai's love" is only a branch line of "A Dream of Red Mansions", but it is still an unimportant branch line; it is also definitely not a "Zhen Huan style" palace battle drama. The Forbidden City is not a large courtyard, and the prince is not allowed to enter the palace privately or go boating on the lake with the imperial concubine. There is a strict order of elders, seniority, men and women in the Rongguo Mansion. It can be seen that to regard "Dream of Red Mansions" as a romantic novel is to look down upon Cao Xueqin too much, just as to regard "Romeo and Juliet" as Shakespeare's masterpiece is to look down upon Shakespeare too much. But it is undeniable that elements such as love and palace battles are indeed good entertainment consumer products, which can not only provide sensory enjoyment, but also bring moral satisfaction. The world is more complex than we imagine, but people would rather believe in the illusions they want to believe than the facts that are right in front of them. In this regard, Gustave Le Bon once discussed in his book "The Crowd" that "without a real thirst for truth, they will turn a deaf ear to evidence that does not suit their taste... Anyone who can provide them with illusions can easily become their master; anyone who disillusiones them will become their victims." As a result, one-sided propaganda comes first and shallow understanding comes second, so prejudice can take root and sprout in people's hearts until it turns into an immovable mountain. The deceased is gone, and the fallacies of contemporary people will not have any real impact on them. The reason why, as Hu Shi said, we should "boldly assume and verify carefully" is more to be responsible for ourselves and not to be ignorant of progress due to prejudice. It also echoes what Baochai said when he visited Chun Li's family in "A Dream of Red Mansions", "Learning is business. If you use knowledge on small things now, the small things will become more serious." Without knowledge, they will all flow into the common people." Treat "classics" with "warmth" and "respect", from "sympathetic understanding" to "understanding and compassion".

Family background is an excuse for mediocrity, not a shackle for advancement. For example, Mengchang Jun, Fan Zhongyan, Xu Wenchang, and Yuan Shikai were all sons of common people. According to research, Confucius, Shang Yang, and Liu Bang were also born as common people. "Dream of Red Mansions" is a classic masterpiece that is as all-encompassing and complex as the world. It seems that every reader can be immersed in it and have a dream that makes them reluctant to wake up for a long time, thus deriving their own "A Dream of Red Mansions". As Liu Xinwu believes, everyone has the right to continue or rewrite Dream of Red Mansions; this is not out of pride, but out of love for this masterpiece and his understanding of world affairs and human feelings. But there is only one principle that cannot be violated, which is what Mr. Qian Mu calls "warmth and respect." At the beginning of "Dream of Red Mansions", the author reveals his feelings of "regret" and "guilt". He has "achieved nothing and been destitute for half his life". He has "received the kindness of his parents' education and the virtue of his senior brothers' discipline". When his family was ruined and his descendants were scattered, he was incompetent and did nothing as a man. This is also an important reason why Jia Baoyu was criticized in the book. The fifth chapter of the original book, "Sleepwalking in the Illusionary Land of Taixu", on the one hand reflects ideologically the inevitability of "extreme joy brings sorrow, and all realms return to emptiness" and "honor and disgrace have been repeated since ancient times"; on the other hand, it shows realistically that the family's "luck and destiny" and the descendants must "introduce the right rules". Just like Qin Zhong's remorse before his death: "Before... I thought I was higher than the world... Only today did I realize my mistake. From now on, I should aspire to fame and glory." From this point of view, Fuyao's achievements and the concubine Jackie Chan are not another fascinating "A Dream of Red Mansions"!

The overall evaluation is very average, slightly sadistic, holy mother, and cowardly. I wanted to read a cool novel. I could read the first chapter, but I couldn't stand the rest and skipped through it. No surprise. By the end, I was just a middle-level official.

The protagonist is abused from time to time, has no temper at all, and is disgusting to watch.

It is recommended that you read it carefully if you are not interested in it. Reading it is the same as not watching it. The last one is so gorgeous that it is better to go straight to the palace.

It's a mess, it ends hastily.

Overall, it's okay, but the ending is a negative review! Also, why are there only two people in the time travel heroine Wen Yi, and they are called jealous women! And the male protagonist can take over the whole house, so it's natural. I felt a little uncomfortable when I saw this, but I endured it and read on. I didn't expect the ending... Will I have to take Baochai back?
