The Wealth-Making Expert

Who says cultivation requires clearing your mind of desires and renouncing all passion? I make my fortune through shrewd deals and buying low and selling high, amassing wealth from across the world.

Who says you have to bow and scrape before immortals, showing them the utmost respect? Whether an immortal can call me brother depends on my mood. Rogue immortals fight until they're battered and bruised just for the chance to become my watchdog.

Who says the Spirit-Ghost Kings, Immortal Emperors, and Demon Emperors are the supreme rulers of their realms, with their noses in the air? Every time they see me, they look as miserable as if they owe me eight hundred strings of cash.

I never bully merchants or monopolize the market. I just have someone report to me every day to ask what price we should sell spirit crystals for. I never prey on women. They just all throw themselves into my arms like fledgling swallows.

I never interfere in the cultivation world's conflicts. I just happen to raise the prices a little whenever I sell supplies for those battles.

I'm an expert at amassing wealth. I've only modestly gained control of more than half the spirit crystal mines in the cultivation world, own plantations three or four dozen times larger than those of the second-biggest spirit herb grower, and have only a thousand or so shops and a mere ten thousand or so employees...

Sigh, I'm ashamed. Such a small enterprise hardly lives up to my reputation as an expert at amassing wealth. The revolution isn't over, so comrades must keep striving.
