A Little Priest Containing Divine Aberrations

Xia Bolun, an anomalous humanoid with the “Special Attack Divine Entity” talent on Earth, accidentally arrives in the world of the single-player pseudo-DND game Nightfall and becomes a divinely chosen priest.

The game world, however, is beginning to reveal its bizarre and absurd side.

Xia Bolun discovers that the world around him is becoming “gamified,” and that the so-called blessing of a chosen one of time and knowledge actually means turn-based combat and experience points.

Even the alternate characters from his old game saves turn out to be real figures in another world’s history, from a Druid sage who founded a school of thought to a Pirate King famous across the six seas!

A town you can never leave declares your breathing “illegal”; a train wants to eat you; your friends turn into characters from a novel; the stars wink at you, literally; every monarch in history is the same person; you believe a circle’s circumference is not an integer multiple of its diameter; characters in a play act out people from beyond the stage; those who eat meat will eventually become food for meat; zombies bitten by the living turn back into the living...

“Humanity lives on a tranquil island called ignorance, in the heart of an endless black sea...

“And it is precisely for this reason that we must sail farther and explore deeper!”
