My Divine Beasts Are Really Not Evil Gods

Lu Yu finds himself in a bizarre beast-taming world, where evil gods lurk and ancient taboos awaken from the depths of time.

In this world, birds, beasts, mountains, rivers, and even elements can develop sentience and become spirit pets. The most powerful become ecosystems in their own right, radiating secret realms such as the Yellow Springs, the Kingdom of Bones, the Succubus Nest, and the Celestial Canopy, where countless followers are born.

Beast tamers form contracts with spirit pets, raise them, and wield their spiritual power.

After witnessing the [Taboo Sun] incident, Lu Yu gains the ability to extract materials from all things and edit [Mystic Recipes].

Evolutionary Mystic Recipes combine [the Shattered Twilight World] and [the Ancient Dragon’s Dead Egg] into the Banquet of the End. After a spirit pet consumes it, it evolves into the Dragon God of the End, whose twilight domain devours the world as it becomes the god of the apocalypse.

Skill Mystic Recipes let spirit pets plunder the skills of all things and move toward omniscience and omnipotence. Sacrificial Mystic Recipes seize forbidden moments in time to offer up ancient beings and blaspheme the gods.

His spirit pets have also taken on increasingly bizarre forms.

There is the Spider Shadow, which weaves the dreams of all living beings and feeds on ancient dragons wrapped in its webs; the Crimson Lord, which contaminates the multiverse; and the Devourer of Worlds, which feeds on entire worlds...

To all this, he says, “My spirit pets are just a little strange. They’re really not evil gods!”
