Cold Mist Over the River

The story of An Jieyu, a woman from ancient times who transmigrates to the modern era, then is reborn back where she started. From fierce household scheming to the warmth of everyday life, from gilded halls to making waves across the martial world.

A good-for-nothing heroine's tangled romances. No pocket dimension, no supernatural powers, no gambling on jade. She treats the Three Obediences and Four Virtues as meaningless and thinks nothing of male superiority and female inferiority.

A love story between a mature man and woman. There's an older man, but no little girls. There are despicable characters, but no saintly heroines.

Literary blurb:

Who fell in love with whom? Who broke whose heart? Whose backyard grape trellis came crashing down?

They all said it was a match made in heaven, but fate had other plans, and heaven above bore witness!
