Out of Control

[Reunion after years apart + male lead’s redemption arc + both leads are sexually inexperienced] Eight years after leaving, Ye Xi returned to Yuncheng, only to discover that her company’s boss was her ex-boyfriend, and the biological father of the child she had lost eight years ago. She carefully planned each move as she drew close to him again. Even if it meant degrading herself, she would stay by Pei Yi’s side, all to uncover the truth about what happened back then and clear her late father’s name. When his ex-girlfriend, whom he had not seen in eight years, reappeared, Pei Yi could practically feel the horns growing on his head. They staged an elaborate “affair” to break up, and their separation was far from amicable. He made things difficult for her at every turn, but he never expected Ye Xi to approach him willingly, even agreeing to become his kept woman. Pei Yi hated her, but when he saw Ye Xi smile at another man, he could no longer hold back. He went mad, lost control, and hid her away where no one could find her. Ye Xi was like the thread tethering Pei Yi. All she had to do was loosen her grip, and he would fall right back into her hands. The cover-up from years ago was torn away, laying the bloody truth bare before them. Ye Xi drove the evidence straight into Pei Yi’s heart with her own hands, consumed by hatred. “Pei Yi, I hope you live to a hundred and spend your whole life alone!” Pei Yi lost his senses and knelt before her, eyes red. “Xixi, I was wrong. Let me spend the rest of my life making it up to you, okay? Please, just look at me.”
