The Golden Daban

This is the story of a new generation of geologists battling nature and creating prospecting miracles in a "forbidden zone of life."

They brave the elements on the plateau and climb icy peaks and sleep in the snow in remote mountains, pushing fieldwork forward with all their strength despite adversity. Every rock sample in their tents bears the mark of their long treks; every set of geological survey data embodies their hard work. They write the story of their youth through steadfast commitment, enduring alongside the mountains and facing the wind and sand with extraordinary perseverance.

After years of being "weathered," their faces are covered in beards, their hair falls to their shoulders, and dust clings to their clothes and shoes. But their efforts have broken the West's monopoly on resources and won China a seat at the negotiating table on equal terms!
