She Soars with the Times

This is a story originating from the Loess Plateau and related to fertility and inheritance. Ma Chunlan has never really left the land in her life. She is the daughter of a poor farmer, a labor force in the production team, the most loyal servant of the land, and a midwife who helps give birth to one life after another on this loess plateau. She worked hard to save every penny she threw from the land, just to support her daughter Li Xuemei's life. Fortunately, Li Xuemei did not live up to her mother's expectations. At the age of 18, she went to Beijing Medical College; at the age of 24, she went to Shenzhen Hospital and became a true obstetrician and gynecologist; finally, she returned to the Loess Plateau... She reinvented herself in the modern landscape, gave birth to her daughter Ma Jiatan with a sense of happiness and expectation, taught her to respect and protect the female body, and watched her inherit her legacy step by step, completing her first delivery in a modern sterile operating room. This is the "relay race" of three generations of women. Some lit the fire, some protected the fire through the wind and rain, and some finally turned the fire into a beacon. In the torrent of the times, they spanned 70 years, rooted in the land, and flew with the support of the land, until they returned to feed the land... They stood on the land of China, experienced the changes of the times, completed this magnificent spiritual long march through fertility and inheritance, and wrote "their" life story.
