Reborn in the 1980s: I Am a Great Writer

Jiang Chuan opened his eyes and found that he had transmigrated to 1983.

After thinking it over, he realized the only thing he could do was return to his old profession from his previous life: writing.

Hey! It wasn't as if Jiang Chuan was blowing his own trumpet.

In his previous life, even after more than twenty years in the business, if anyone asked about his work, all he dared do was ruefully call himself a hack who churned out words for a living.

But what time was it now?

The eighties!

For literature, this was a vibrant golden age. Society as a whole was in the midst of a transition between old and new, and a passion for literature had taken hold across the country.

On the more popular end, there were the two major literary digests from the north and south, riding high over the past couple of years.

On the more refined end, there were official magazines like Red Flag and Seeking Truth.

Their sales could easily reach hundreds of thousands, even millions.

As a result, this period gave rise to many writers who would later become household names.

Of course, Jiang Chuan wouldn't have the nerve to compare himself with those true masters.

So what could he do? Plagiarize!

All Jiang Chuan wanted was to be a literary copycat.

He never expected that copying his way through the classics would usher in a golden age of literature!
