War of Resistance: I Built My Forces Alone and Returned with an Army

Zhang Feng transmigrates to the War of Resistance era and becomes a Red Army regimental commander.

He leads his troops over snow-covered mountains and through swamps, struggling to reach a base area.

At this point, our army has suffered severe losses, with only a few thousand men left.

They must also face encirclement by the enemy.

To rebuild the army as quickly as possible and train new talent,

the organization decides to send Zhang Feng, Li Yunlong, and others out with their own units to expand and establish new base areas!

Zhang Feng leads his surviving troops to the Taihang Mountains to establish a new base area.

At the Taihang base, Zhang Feng develops military industries, recruits soldiers, and gathers talent. Starting with just over two hundred men, he builds a force tens of thousands strong!

In 1937, the full-scale War of Resistance breaks out!

Headquarters recalls Zhang Feng, Li Yunlong, and the others, who had been developing their forces independently.

Ding Wei: My regiment has just over 3,000 men, equipped with light and heavy machine guns, mortars...

Li Yunlong: I brought back over 10,000 men, plus Italian guns, dozens of mortars, and dozens of warhorses...

Kong the Blockhead: I can't compare to you guys. I've only got a few thousand men...

Just as Li Yunlong is congratulating himself,

Zhang Feng returns with his troops!

A tank battalion, an armored battalion, an artillery regiment, a cavalry regiment, special forces...

Zhang Feng: Our regiment did all right. We've only got 100,000 men.

Li Yunlong: 100,000 men, and you call that a regiment?

Headquarters: We told you to develop on your own, and you came back with an entire army?
