A Woman with Thorns

Her boyfriend is wild, aloof, and domineering. Willful Yan Manqi throws everything aside, gives up on her dreams, and flees alone from the place where her heart was broken. He rescues her at a party, then binds her tightly to his side, making her the enemy of every woman in Qingzhou. Yet she struggles desperately to escape.

"You go back to your world, and I'll return to my paradise," she tells the domineering ruler who commands every situation and makes ruthless decisions.

He tells her, "You're not allowed to love anyone else!"

She struggles, she argues, she fights him, but he only tightens his grip around her more and more... Like a bold, wild rose, she dares to love and hate, and will one day bloom in all her glory! In his arms, she tells her king, "I won't let you pluck me at will. I'll bring a kingdom to its knees for you alone..."
