The Underworld: Burning Paper for My Descendants Makes Me Stronger

Qin Xiao transmigrates to the Underworld, where he becomes a tortured ghost laborer in the Yinshan Mine, with no one to offer him sacrifices and his soul on the verge of death.

Just as he is about to perish completely, he unexpectedly awakens the Incense-Fueled Path to Godhood System and manages to send a single word, “Burn,” to his descendants in the modern world!

His grandson Qin Mingxuan, living among the living, burns a stack of paper money, though he isn’t sure whether to believe the message. In the Underworld, Qin Xiao watches his incense points roll in and weeps with joy. At last, he can survive!

From then on, the Underworld gains an unusually unconventional ghost cultivator.

While others curry favor with their superiors, he paves his way with incense offerings. “Captain, just a little token of my appreciation. Please accept it!”

When vengeful ghosts attack, others have their souls scattered, but Qin Xiao whips out the Gatling gun made of joss paper that his grandson burned for him…

He emerges from Yinshan and rises all the way to become the Underworld’s great demon king.

When he occasionally manages to visit the mortal world, he discovers that the trouble his grandson gets into seems to be something only he can solve.

Qin Xiao sends the ghost soldiers ahead and unleashes a procession of a hundred ghosts.

“Who dares bully my grandson?”
