The Peach Blossom Spring Case Files

As the heir to the prestigious Qingyang Marquis household and the newly appointed top scholar, Wei Chen is demoted to the lowly post of county magistrate over a single wager. Shen Yinrong, the daughter of a humble coroner, has a keen sense of smell. While searching for a body one day, she meets the newly appointed Wei Chen, and from then on, their fates are impossible to untangle. The county appears peaceful and harmonious, but undercurrents run deep. A copy of The Peach Blossom Spring reveals murderous intent; there are mutilated corpses, a sinister opera troupe, and a headless performer in blue... The floral fragrance that lingers around Shen Yinrong’s nose leads to a decades-old massacre of an entire village... Wei Chen: “I hear you have a keen nose?” Shen Yinrong: “I’m not a dog!” A cold-faced but warm-hearted top scholar versus a proud little thing with an incredibly keen nose. Which of them will fall into the other’s arms first?
