The Bright Moon Waned

This is a very warm and poetic novel, with a sense of tranquility over time. This kind of novel is rare anymore. This book is shorter than other books, and the plot has no twists and turns. It just tells the life story of an ordinary royal princess. The male and female protagonists don't have any particularly powerful skills, nor do they have the halo of being the protagonist. However, through simple language, it touches the warmest place in people's hearts. [Emperor Chu is a good father who is rare among emperors] [Xiao Lu is my favorite character in this book. She is a willful, arrogant, public and ignorant little girl. Her targeting of Xiao Xuan is just jealousy. She was born in the royal family. Her mother, Concubine Chen, was weak and unloved. She had no biological brother, so the queen only used her. Her grandmother also had no affection or love for her. She only wanted to use her status as a princess to keep her title, and did not consider her at all. Emperor Chu favored Xiao Xuan. Only when she has her own thorns can she have the right to control her own life. She protects herself with all the rage in her body. At the last moment, she would rather injure the enemy 1,000 and damage herself 800 to solve the problem, rather than accept her fate and submit to it. For example, if she had not poisoned her grandmother, and his parents had agreed to this ridiculous marriage, then he would have really become a sacrifice tool to keep his title. She would rather do something treasonous and unethical in the world, poisoning Bo Liang's grandmother to death, than do what others want, let alone wrong herself. Have the courage to fight, have the courage to change, and never accept the situation. I admire a princess who is pampered in a deep palace and has the courage to kill her own grandmother. Because if she had to be soft-hearted and show mercy, she would be wronged for the rest of her life. I would rather let the world down than let the world down me.

Nice

The male protagonist appears too infrequently, and the female protagonist is very smart. The plot could also be a bit draggy.

2024.12.4 Finished chasing🍌 One review said it very well, "The Life of a Princess and Her Family" The male protagonist's role is pitiful, and he is not as good as the domineering princess. A particularly bland narration completes the heroine's life

This article actually has to be read as a general preference. There are some points that I don't quite understand, but overall it's very stable and quiet. I thought of a more popular name for this book, called The Life Diary of Princess Zhaoyue and Her Family and Friends. There is not much excitement, the palace fight is also very calm, it comes and goes quickly, and the plot of seizing the heir seems relatively smooth. It is basically a unilateral crushing. I don't know if it is the protagonist's aura or the aura of justice. All bad things are quickly eliminated after they appear. The beauty trap is broken immediately. In terms of character personality, I think the eldest princess Xiao Lu is richer. In Xiao Lu's case, when she wanted Duan Shaoyou to compensate her son, the queen spoke to her ear so openly. Others were not curious about what made her compromise? In fact, this handle did not arouse much suspicion in the previous article. It seems that the emperor was not included among the people who knew about it. So he just whispered this handle in front of everyone? After Xiao Zhen left, his biological mother was so brainless that the conflict was really inexplicable. This point is optional for the senses. Another point is that I didn't see the orange, mute little girl the author wrote about at the end. Where did she go? This line appears magically and disappears inexplicably.

Light as water, warm as jade. Although there is nothing particularly outstanding, the overall tone is very good and fascinating.

The only novel that I can't jump to read 555, although I always hope that there will be more plots between Zhao Yue and Duan Shaolan

It's okay. They are generally good people. Only the queen and the second prince are bad people. But after seeing it later, I still feel uncomfortable. I feel that there is no punishment for those who have done wrong things.

The plainness is the truth, and the real life is without too many ups and downs.

The heroine is willful and will only take advantage of others' favor. She has a fuller character than the eldest princess.
