Great Tang: You Got It Wrong, My Father Isn't Li Shimin

Li Xi was a top history student who transmigrated to the second year of the Zhenguan era in the Tang Dynasty.

It was a hellish start. In a mountain village, he was so poor he couldn't even afford rice.

To make matters worse, he had a beautiful aunt and a little sister who loved to eat.

Fortunately, he had a golden finger: a ring-shaped pocket dimension that randomly refreshed with items from the modern world every seven days.

With those items, Li Xi quickly became fabulously wealthy, making the farmers in all the nearby villages green with envy.

As Li Xi went about his life in the Tang Dynasty, he gained more and more titles: the Poet Immortal, inventor, scourge of the steppe, God of War of Hexi, and the shared emperor of the Three Kingdoms of Liaodong...

The people of Tang spread all these titles far and wide.

One day, a merchant couple came to his home to buy goods before heading to Chang'an. One said his surname was Huang, the other, Sun.

He gave them a curved-beam plow and helped them secure official posts. He never expected Li Shimin to grant him a noble title.

What was going on?

Li Xi really wanted Old Huang to become a high-ranking official, since that would give him powerful backing in business. But the man was so hopeless: he kept attaching Li Xi's name to all the good things Li Xi presented to him.

Old Huang: "Actually, I'm the Tang emperor, Li Shimin. You're my son, lost among the common people for sixteen years. Son, this dragon throne was yours all along."

Aunt Sun: "My son, your Imperial Father's other sons are all useless. How could any of them compare to you? Please stop refusing the throne of the Tang emperor!"
