The Haunted Half-Life Shop

I was sentenced to death the day I was born. A fortune-teller said I wouldn’t live past twenty. My mother knelt and begged a spirit medium to save my life, but when I was eighteen, I discovered that the ghosts hunting me were somehow connected to a secret hidden in the hills behind our hometown. On the mountain road back home for the ancestral rites, I came upon a strange funeral celebration, a woman covered in eyes watching me, and a snake-shaped mountain coiled around a coffin. A blood-covered woman searched for someone to help her. The people of a bizarre village worshipped snakes as gods, and I discovered the secret that its residents had lived for hundreds of years. This village was alive… In this century-spanning conspiracy, no one is a mere bystander.
