After Binding to a Plot Correction System, the Heroine Goes Out of Character

Ning Shiyan transmigrates into the villainess of the tragic romance novel she wrote. Bound to a System, she has to keep following the plot without going out of character. But in a three-way showdown, the “domineering CEO hero,” Xiao Jueye, actually splashes coffee on himself and sneers, “So this is the scheme you wrote to frame me?” The man inside the hero’s body is actually her star editor! Their System missions pit them against each other: She drugs him, and he calls her “disgusting.” She stages a “caught-in-the-act” scene, and he’s forced to “grab her by the waist with red-rimmed eyes.” The punishments are even more ridiculous: after three failures, they get the full vegetative-state package. So the drama-loving couple put on an acting marathon: She gives him abortion pills, and he swaps them for folic acid. She fakes a fall to frame him, and he pulls out a CT scan showing a concussion. The System forces them to kiss on the balcony, but he exploits a bug and turns it into a CPR lesson. When the original heroine turns evil and ties them up on a boat, Xiao Jueye detonates a money bomb wrapped around his waist. Kissing her amid a shower of cash, he whispers by her ear, “You wrote me as someone who throws money at people.” Then he chuckles, “Throwing money at you for real. What’s wrong with that?” Watching the progress bar explode, Ning Shiyan cries, “The whole plot has gone off the rails!” The man pulls her close. “Off the rails? The System told me to teach you how to put ‘marriage first, love later’ into practice.”
