Famine Years: Exiled with My Beautiful Twin-Wife

In the Great Zhou dynasty, famine and war are rampant, and the gender ratio is severely skewed. In some places, fewer than one in ten men survive.

Su Ce, a former elite soldier, transmigrates into the body of the Left Chancellor's second son. He thinks he'll live a life of wealth and privilege, but his father opposes the empress's ascension to the throne, so she orders him executed and sends the entire family into exile.

As soon as Su Ce reaches the frontier, the empress announces a grand population-growth plan: marry more, earn more. This exempts him from punishment, but the local authorities seize him and force him to marry a pair of beautiful twin sisters.

Su Ce thinks about taking revenge for his family's murder. But before that, he decides he should fulfill the most important duty of restoring the population of the realm: marry more wives and do his part as much as he can.
