The Hundred Puppets Manual

In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, one of my ancestors was a woman of incomparable beauty and talent. She gathered extraordinary people from across the land and recorded each of their unique skills, along with the methods for countering them, in a book called The Register of a Hundred Marionettes.

Sadly, more than a century ago, The Register of a Hundred Marionettes was burned in the flames of war. The heirs to more than a hundred esoteric arts almost all slipped from the Bai family's control.

My fellow descendants of the Bai family and I have continued to track down extraordinary figures in the martial world, suppressing and restraining them to keep them from using their strange arts to commit evil.
