The Zhang Family's Secret Tomb-Raiding Arts

For generations, the Zhang family never sought to become emperors or kings. They guarded the dragon veins and imperial mausoleums across the land, and drew the Dragon Vein Tomb Map. Whenever famine or chaos struck, they would offer sacrifices to Heaven and Earth and inform their ancestors, then retrieve burial treasures from the tombs to save the common people. The Zhang clan leader was hailed by fellow tomb raiders as the greatest of them all.

During a time of calamity, the Dragon Vein Tomb Map was accidentally stolen. The great Zhang Ci was forced to retire, and the Zhang family’s standing quickly plummeted. The tomb-raiding world descended into chaos as rival forces sought the map and fought for the title of greatest raider. The Zhang family became a target for everyone, and its members had no choice but to raid tombs themselves. Their first disastrous failure in thousands of years left countless dead and wounded and severely weakened the clan, which never recovered.

Twenty years later, the Dragon Vein Tomb Map resurfaced. Details of one imperial mausoleum after another leaked, each concealing endless deadly traps. A battle spanning thousands of years to protect the tombs from raiders began, bringing a century-old secret to light.
