A Long-Overdue Plan: Professor Song Flirts Openly and Coaxes Me in Secret

[The refined, ascetic archaeology professor x the perceptive, flirtatious actress]

After Rong Jiuyan fell for the wrong man and was exposed, the entire internet turned against her. Haters called her a mistress who had broken up a family and told her to get out of show business. Her company put her on ice, suspending all her work and activities.

She used the time to improve herself and got into the university she had always dreamed of, Xida.

At school, a deranged fan pursued her and tried to force a kiss on her. Terrified, she ran around in a panic and accidentally hid in the men's restroom.

Song Yanshi was Xida's youngest archaeology professor, a promising young man who was cool and ascetic.

As he was using the restroom, Rong Jiuyan barged in without looking. Their eyes met, and the scene was so awkward it made them want to die.

She thought it was just a brief episode in her life. Then, two years later, they met again, and Rong Jiuyan's situation was even more miserable than before.

At a dinner with a powerful investor, she was thoroughly drunk, yet they still demanded that she dance to entertain them.

Song Yanshi, who hadn't said a word all evening, frowned and rebuked the investor. “Have you never seen anyone dance before? If you want to watch, go home and have your wife dance for you!”

His tone was impatient. She thought he simply couldn't stand the way those big shots were bullying her.

It wasn't until Rong Jiuyan was injured and Song Yanshi carried her to the hospital in front of everyone that things changed.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, she offered to treat him to a meal.

Song Yanshi flicked his sleeve and chuckled. “I saved your life three times, and all you want to do is buy me one meal?”

“Then what do you want?”

“A life-saving favor should be repaid by giving yourself to me.”
