Competing for His Favor? Sorry, I'm the Prince's One True Love

The Yu Dynasty fell, and all its lands became part of the Great Liang. The tyrant Emperor Yu and his demon empress, the Lin clan woman, perished together in a sea of flames. She is reborn in the body of Lin Shuangji, an illegitimate daughter of the Grand Tutor, and sent to Prince Jing’s residence as a pawn to help her older sister secure the prince’s favor and bear him a child. Unfortunately, the original owner was meek, her sister was frail and chronically ill, and the entire household was under the control of the prince’s side consort, Li Yueyao. The sisters had become the household’s favorite pushovers, easy for anyone to bully. But she is no delicate illegitimate daughter. They make her live in a drafty room and refuse to give her warm clothes? Lin Shuangji sets half the prince’s residence on fire, so everyone can warm themselves. Political scheming? She was a demon empress in her last life! She thought she would once again have to plot every step of the way and bargain with a tiger, but why does this prince seem so much like that tyrant? “Brother Jing, Lin the concubine has burned half the residence down. You must punish her severely!” But the nobleman before her simply waves a hand. “Let her burn it. If she wishes, I would win the whole world for her.”
