In 2021, the Eighth National Work Conference on Counterpart Support to Xinjiang was held. In response to the spiritual requirements of the work conference, Shanghai organized grassroots courts to carry out the work of "selecting counterparts to go to New Zealand" to support the construction of the rule of law in Xinjiang. Li Xianming, a member of the Party Committee of the No. 1 Intermediate Court in Shanghai, responded to the call and actively went to Xinjiang. Wang Meng, as a newly appointed judge, was accidentally selected to go to Yarkand, under the jurisdiction of Kashgar Prefecture, which is supported by Shanghai City, to carry out a one-year aid work in Xinjiang. Not long after arriving in Xinjiang, the Yarkand County Court was met with a riot by petitioners headed by Li Da. Since it was related to the pomegranate planting industrial park project assisted by Shanghai many years ago, the Huangdi Town Court under Wang Meng's jurisdiction took on the task of investigating the incident and resolving conflicts and disputes among the masses. During the process, it encountered threats and obstructions from Li Da and others many times. At the same time, various civil disputes continued to emerge in Huangdi Town, and Wang Meng's work was once in trouble. Thanks to the meticulous and patient work of everyone in the Huangdi Town Court, the Huangdi Town Court successfully helped the villagers resolve difficult disputes one after another, giving full play to the experience of Fengqiao. Relying on the assistance and cooperation of Xinjiang Aid Lawyers, Factory Director Wang, Commander Tao and other enthusiastic people and units at all levels, we successfully solved the pomegranate garden petition issue and also helped Li Da find his "roots" from Ningxia. Through various exchange activities between Yarkand County and Shanghai City, with the joint efforts of everyone, the pomegranate unsaleable crisis of the wasteland villagers was successfully solved, and the understanding and understanding of each other between the two places was further enhanced. During this, everyone's feelings became more united and closer like pomegranate seeds.
