Long Blade in Hand

Three thousand civilians were slaughtered in a single night, their peaceful home reduced to scorched earth.

The imperial court was corrupt and incompetent, wicked officials held sway, and human lives were worth less than pigs and dogs.

Then a seemingly insignificant young man arrived in the capital and became an embroidered-uniform guard.

Ahead of him, nobles and imperial relatives were sharpening their blades.

Behind him, wolves and vermin were already closing in.

With a blood feud to avenge, he was like a pawn crossing a river: there was no turning back.

With his long blade in hand, he would cut down every monster and demon in the world!
