Back to 1989: Saving Up Gold in the Mountains

At death's door, gray-haired Qin Song wept, remembering more than fifty years ago:

His wife died in a fire, and his daughter passed away far too young.

He could only hope that the gods would take pity on him after a lifetime of loneliness and more than fifty years of charity work, and let him reunite with them...

When he opened his eyes, Qin Song was back on the day his daughter was born. Faced with a bare wooden shack, he was full of drive.

At a little shop in Qin Family Village, a group of people gathered to gossip.

"I heard that Qin Song kid is making money now?"

"That kid never learned a thing. If he can make money, then I could become the richest man and a high-ranking official!"

"Hahaha! That's right. I'd sooner believe a sow could climb a tree than believe Qin Song would mend his ways!"

Before long, nearly everyone in the village was crowding around Qin Song's home, eager to find out what he'd done.

He'd bought a huge color TV and a big refrigerator, and built a Western-style house. He was living in serious luxury!

Later... he even helped his family and relatives make big money, escape hardship, and live a good life!
