Words and Pears

Shen Yanzhi first met You Li at her hundred-day celebration. The moment he got close, she spat milk all over him. He had changed into fresh clothes, but not even a few hours later, the little princess picked him in the grab-the-toys ceremony. She wasn't exactly kind about it either: she peed all over him. The second time they met, his mother took him to visit You Li. He merely brushed the cheek of the soundly sleeping baby, and she burst into tears. His mother made him stand as punishment, while the little one went right on sleeping peacefully. After that, Shen Yanzhi instinctively tried to avoid You Li. But every time, she would call him “Brother Yanyan” in her sweet baby voice. The moment he heard it, all his principles crumbled. He would do anything for You Li. They were always there for each other as they grew up, developing feelings along the way and ultimately confirming that they felt the same.
