Unraveling the Origins

In 1975, an ill-fated expedition ended in an explosion. Decades later, an old friend pulled me into a research team. During this expedition, we stumbled upon part of an ancient civilization. The deeper we explored, the more clues pointed to the possibility that humanity was merely a lab rat in an experiment conducted by some highly advanced life form.

Yet history was not destined to leave humanity in obscurity. Further exploration revealed a schism among those advanced beings, and humanity seized the opportunity to seal one of them away. I also discovered that my family had been guarding a secret all along: a forbidden truth left behind after a war between gods and humans. But everything had been thrown into disarray, and I was slowly drawing closer to the heart of the secret.

Meanwhile, a conspiracy surrounding the expedition was gradually coming to light. Where did humanity come from, and where are we headed?
