I Sang “Ten Years of Mortal Life” and Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm

He transmigrated into the body of Dong Yi, a little-known online singer, and entered the TV talent show Singer God.

How could he stand out among all the singers who sang and danced?

"With a blazing heart, I walk toward"

"The most forgiving execution ground"

His performance of A Decade in the Mortal World sang of a tragedy and freedom unlike anything anyone had heard before.

The audience was stunned, but the song also found its way into every heart, line by line, note by note.

"There are the most spectacular peaks"

"That have witnessed your and my wildness"

"There are the most solitary snow mountains"

"That have listened quietly to our verses"

With Dong Yi's singing, scene after scene slowly unfolded: some majestic, some sorrowful, some reluctant, some lost.

The moment the song came out, it shocked the whole nation and shook a music industry that prided itself on singing and dancing.

"Dong Yi is the undisputed King of Singers!!"

Then!

His song Last Night, Drizzle Over the Begonias sang of his longing for the mortal world.

His song Ten Years Later sang of a young man's passion that could not be cooled, even after ten years of drinking ice.

His song The Moon Over the Mountains Stays Awake sang of the entanglement of fate and the tender twists of longing...

With his own strength, Dong Yi turned the tide in a music industry dominated by singing and dancing, bringing traditional Chinese-style music to its peak!
