Apocalypse: I Rise as the Corpse King by Devouring

[Post-apocalyptic wasteland + arrogant villain + dark tone + evolution panel + stockpiling supplies + King of the Zombies showdown]

If you found out the world would end in seven days, and you were guaranteed to mutate into a zombie, but could evolve endlessly by devouring flesh, what would you do?

Zhang Yang, a rich second-generation heir, acquired an evolution panel. After learning that the apocalypse was coming and he was certain to mutate, he swore to become the strongest Zombie King of the apocalypse!

For zombies, flesh meant power. The more flesh they devoured, the stronger and more terrifying they became, with no limit!

So Zhang Yang spent his entire fortune stockpiling tens of thousands of tons of fresh flesh!

Seven days later, the apocalypse arrived right on schedule.

While everyone else fled in panic and could barely sleep or eat, Zhang Yang devoured flesh inside the safe house he had built, quietly evolving and growing stronger by the day.

By the time shelters and base cities had been established, and survivors were dreaming of standing their ground against mutated creatures and reclaiming the world, Zhang Yang had become the Calamity Zombie King. He could lead a zombie horde of hundreds of millions, sweeping all before him and standing unrivaled in the world!

“My name is Zhang Yang, and I’m every bit as brazen as my name!”
