Fallout: Rebooting Van Buren

On the west coast of a distant continent, a nation rises from the ashes of destruction. The flag of the two-headed bear flies high, and the flame of civilization burns anew across the wasteland. But war never changes. People today are still repeating the mistakes of the past. Will the eastward expansion free this nation from the curse of decline, or sound the death knell of its demise?

The shadows of the Old World still flicker faintly in the present. Monstrous, savage creatures are everywhere, and twisted, bloodthirsty bandits run rampant. This filthy, treacherous wasteland... who has ever truly conquered you?

After a bizarre car accident, a not-so-bright man opens his eyes and discovers he has become a prisoner.

A little man with beady eyes greets him.

“Hello, you can call me... Van Buren.”
