In the beginning, a confrontation scene on a rainy night is used to depict the contradictions between the characters and strengthen the dramatic tension. However, the rhythm of the plot is slow in the later stages.

I originally wanted to give it an average rating, but the author's overall concept is relatively complete, so I would like to give it a good review to encourage it. The first few dozen chapters basically explain all the characters and conflicts, and then the rest is to advance the main plot. It can be seen that the outline is written and the background setting is also good. But the reasons why it is not attractive enough: 1. Too much nonsense, a lot of unnecessary nonsense dialogue; 2. The characters are too unattractive. The male protagonist is very attractive when he persuades others about their feelings and views, but he has no rules for how he behaves towards others. It feels strange that Guo Jing and Wei Xiaobao are possessed at the same time. None of the heroines were successfully described. Take Meng as an example. The male protagonist threatens to marry someone else if he is not taken advantage of. He keeps doing this over and over again, but never does anything to the male protagonist. Liu Ruyin is stupid, has a bad temper, and is not lovable at all. 3. The author's lyrical writing is good, but his narrative writing is really dry.

Although women should be respected, the male protagonist is indeed a bit of a bad guy. A woman who had been saved by him actually treated her as a human being, and he was still happy with it; a maid from Wu Sheng Mansion could scold the male protagonist again and again; a brothel girl could take advantage of the male protagonist again and again... This book is quite nice. It is told in a plain and simple manner. The content is not outstanding. It is better than making people calm down and read it slowly to pass the time.
