The Unwanted Bride

The bride flees, and the entire Su family faces annihilation. Su Luoning, the second daughter of the Su family, rushes back to the capital day and night. After several rounds of maneuvering, she finally gets an audience with the emperor.

In a secret meeting in the palace, she turns the tide. A new imperial edict is issued, ordering her to marry in her sister's place and saving the lives of the hundred members of the Su family.

On their wedding night, the groom is nowhere to be seen, but she doesn't mind at all. She already knows Prince Che's reputation as a playboy and his lustful nature. She's actually happier with him gone. All she wants is for them to treat each other with respect and maintain the appearance of a marriage. Since you like beautiful women, I'll give you what you want.

She personally chooses several beautiful concubines for the household, but to her surprise, he flies into a rage.

Luoning thinks to herself: This prince of mine is getting harder and harder to please. If he doesn't like this one, we'll just pick another. Why get angry? Such a handsome face, and yet such a strange temper!

Meanwhile, she gradually notices that her prince husband is spending more and more time at home. Luoning is thoroughly vexed. You're supposed to be a playboy prince, so why aren't you out having fun? Why are you hanging around me all day? I've got a mountain of things to do. I don't have time to play with you.

As they spend more time together, she discovers that her prince husband is nothing like the man of the rumors. A playboy? A wastrel? Not at all! He's the very picture of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

A prince husband with an overwhelmingly possessive streak, several eccentric and outrageous sisters from her maiden family, and the royal family's endless messes: life for Su Luoning after returning to the capital is... utterly eventful, with one thrilling turn after another...

P.S. The male and female leads are both chaste in body and heart, and both are clever and powerful. A sweet, adorable little baby will appear later on.
