The Son of Heaven of Han

At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Wang Mang usurped the throne and the realm descended into chaos. A commoner drew his sword and entered the fray.

He plotted with foresight, campaigning across ninety thousand li. Wherever his sword pointed, he dared command eight hundred feudal lords.

He marched east and west, crushed the warlords who had carved up the realm, and brought the land under his rule.

He governed with benevolence and worked tirelessly to bring peace and prosperity. The realm's finest talents all gathered beneath his banner.

His name was Liu Xiu, the first emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

"This throne is mine and mine alone!"
