Ultraman: Only Upright People Become Light

"Do you like Ultraman?"

Takano Jun picked his teeth with a card. "I don't like Ultraman. What respectable person would like Ultraman?"

"Then what the hell is that card in your hand?"

Takano Jun took a look.

"Well, it's Ultraman Hikari, without any great power."

"And you say you don't like Ultraman!"

"Come on, this is Ultraman. He's just the weak, pitiful, helpless Hikari."

The story mainly takes place in a heavily altered world of Ultraman Tiga and features multiple universes. Don't get too caught up in timeline issues; the book takes precedence.

The protagonist pursues power. He doesn't turn into an Ultraman from the start, so don't read this if that's not your thing.
