Chronicles of the Great Song Empire

In the final years of the Northern Song, the Jingkang Incident dealt another devastating blow to the already enfeebled Song Empire, leaving it on the brink of collapse. Li Hu, a descendant of a transmigrator, appears out of nowhere in this turbulent and unpredictable era. Watch as he turns the tide and rewrites this humiliating chapter in the history of the Song Empire.

From founding an army of three to commanding tens of thousands; from a puppet bullied by everyone to a ruler who holds the power of the realm by day and sleeps in the arms of beauties by night. With foresight beyond his era, Li Hu faces the stars shining across the historical skies of the late Northern Song. Yue Fei, Zong Ze, Li Gang, Wanyan Wushu, Yelu Dashi, Qin Hui: these figures, whose stories were told in Li Hu's father's time, all take the stage in this age.

Here are the Yue Family Army, whom the Jin people lamented were "easier to move a mountain than to defeat"; the heroic ambition to feast on the flesh of northern invaders when hungry and drink their blood when thirsty; and the magnificent battles of cavalry charging through enemy camps and thousands of horsemen sweeping across the hills.

As the saying goes, one who defeats a hundred is a hero, one who defeats a thousand is a champion, and one who defeats ten thousand is a legend. The rivals race to claim a realm plunged into chaos; the winds rise and clouds gather as the land is brought to heel. Armed with weapons and armor, thousands of horsemen thunder forth in The Tales of the Great Song Empire.
