To Secure a Graduate Recommendation, I Unveiled a Combat Mech from the Start

“Mr. Bai, one question: why did you choose to unveil combat mechs that were generations ahead of their time?”

“To get into graduate school!”

“Ah, was getting into graduate school really your only reason?”

“What else would it be?”

“I never expected that answer.”

“I didn’t work hard in college, so there was no way I’d pass the graduate entrance exam. My family kept pushing me to get a better degree, and the competition was fierce, so my only option was to get recommended for admission.”

During an interview with a major television network, Bai Fan gave this utterly down-to-earth answer.

He had no grand dreams. He just wanted to be a lazy couch potato, one powered by technology.
