The Han Watchtowers

What a wonderful article, but it's a pity that the author left too early. I hope he will be reborn in the Han Dynasty he loves most, standing under the Han Palace and looking up at the sky of the Han Dynasty...

The author has achieved great success in his last work "Qin Officials". This is partly due to the accumulation of his many years of writing. However, one thing that cannot be ignored is that the chosen era of Qin Shihuang was a popular one in the pre-Qin period, and therefore it has received more attention. The Zhaoxuan period chosen for "Hanque" was a period of very low popularity, which destined its results to be successful. The author was also mentally prepared for this. Excellent historical knowledge is the most prominent feature of July. The author is able to integrate his own attitude and understanding of history into the story, and present that period of history to readers in a novelistic way. From this point of view, the level of "Han Que" is higher than that of "Qin Officials". Both the war description and the inner shaping of the characters have made great progress. The book "Hanque" does not go out of the inherent routine of the July new series, that is, it is an interpretation of a period of history and the shaping of a famous historical figure. It can be said to be a step-by-step work. After the death of inherent history and core historical figures, the plot deduction is in trouble, just like "I am the King" after the death of Confucius and "Qin Li" after the death of Qin Shihuang. After Huo Guang's death, the plot of "Han Que" inevitably entered its later stages.

2025.2.28 After finishing reading "Han Que", I realized that I owed July a good review and a book review, so I should write something. I first met the author in "Qin Li". Heifu accompanied me through the numb and painful preparation time before the college entrance examination in 23 years. Only after finishing the evening self-study of comprehensive science papers, holding a pad and peeking at Heifu's bumpy journey can give me, who is also from the northwest, a small amount of encouragement. July's pen is magical. He largely made up for my belief and pursuit of literary history, allowing an engineering student who admires literature to see himself on another path. At this moment, I am sitting in the back row of the university classroom typing these rather embarrassing words. The teacher on the podium is talking about data type conversion. I think it is time for my husband, Ren Hongmeng, to wake up. Thank you July for giving me the opportunity to dream. Calculating the time, July should be one and a half years old.

"Han Que" shows the history of the Han Dynasty Emperor Zhao's era, and this era belongs to Huo Guang's era. The theme of this era is border expansion. In the life of the protagonist Ren Hong, we can indeed get a glimpse of the era of the Qianghan Zhongxing, and it is worthy of being a "picture of the times." Look at Ren Hong moving around during the Zhaoxuan period, creating a world, freeing the Han Dynasty from the disaster of June 7th, and curbing the decline of the country... The protagonist travels back in time to the reign of Emperor Zhao of the Han Dynasty. His identity is the grandson of Ren An, the protagonist of the allusive letter "Report to Ren An" in history. He was implicated by witchcraft and his family went to Dunhuang. Because of his guilt, he was unable to pursue a normal career path. However, the clever protagonist still thought of a way and embarked on a journey to the Western Regions. However, the plot is too extensive, and the last two volumes are too extensive and seem to be redundant. After defeating the Xiongnu in the north, there is a volume describing the development after defeating the Xiongnu. Later, we wrote about Ren Hong's colonization of India, and then went to Egypt to help Queen Marie coup against Caesar, and continued until Emperor Xuan's death to discuss his merits. This is a bit... The emotional impact of the plot is not enough, and the overall feeling of the whole book is "boring". Most of the time, the plot goes smoothly, but the plot during the mission to Wusun is more twists and turns. This is probably an important reason why people abandon books!

Han Jue, Qin officials. Come on! Calm down and take your time. Good novel.

The author has read too many books, so he writes novels that are thick, elegant and smooth... There are relatively few such authors.

The author's writing style is very mature and sophisticated. It's a pity that I can no longer read his new book.

July's writing is very good, the history is rich, and it resonates with many places. It's hard to imagine how Qiyue finished writing this masterpiece in pain, but Qiyue finally left us and went to his Qin Dynasty and Hanque to write his new book... I am jealous of the genius, July, we will always remember you!

July's works are worth seeing. Qin Li and Han Que, calm down and read it slowly. It is a good book. Unfortunately, the author has passed away and I can no longer read his new books.

After watching Qin Li Comes Over, it's really good-looking, and there are also linkages, jokes, and some bad guys here and there.
