The Tome of Calamity

The advantage of this book is that the exercises and cultivation systems are rarely written in a relatively complete manner, and they can both scare people and make them stunned. The shortcoming is that the portrayal of the protagonist is so poor. After reading dozens of chapters, I can't tell what the protagonist is like. He has no personality. The plot is really difficult to explain in one sentence. For example, if you accept two people, Yan Jujian and Scholar, as your disciples, you will lie when you open your mouth: "Accepting apprentices on behalf of a senior brother, you have a senior brother of Mao, this plot was written by AI, right?" As soon as he got out of the Taoism, he dared to interfere with anything. A servant asked the protagonist to help lift the car, and the protagonist happily went to lift it. This can be said that the protagonist has a gentle personality and a good temper. Then in the blink of an eye, he went on a killing spree in the temple. Is the protagonist mentally ill? As a governor who has no grudges against you, you just dare to demolish other people's temples. You are not afraid of beating the younger ones and then the older ones come to look for you. Qiu, the protagonist has opened his eyes. He knows that there is no risk in killing the governor and he will also explode the equipment and spells, right? He licks his face and accepts a 6-year-old girl as a beggar as his apprentice. He also describes the little girl's extraordinary origin. At this time, I don't think about what you said when you lied to accept the apprentice on behalf of your senior brother: be reserved and ask others to take the initiative to express their heart to the Tao to you. This plot looks extremely embarrassing to me. The protagonist, who gritted his teeth and took a breath, jumped straight away and was transported to the world of cultivation. The protagonist, a person who traveled through time, actually heard that the street vendor used spiritual stones as currency. He acted like he had never heard of it before and immediately burst into tears. You might as well just write about the aborigines. Are there any cultivation novels that don't use spiritual mountains as currency?

Squid's first book, without a heroine, I have always admired the name, but recently I was bored and read it, and I was shocked. Shi Xuan traveled to the "Middle-earth" region of "Yu Yutian" and obtained the golden finger "Treasure Record" of the whole book. After that, he entered the Penglai sect in the world of immortality and began his journey to immortality. Before I entered, there were many women along the way. Whenever I saw a woman, I would say that I was careless and would describe it in various ways. I would glance at her a few times, thinking about meeting again. The difference in treatment between men and women is also too great. There is Shi Xuan who knows Ming Qingyue, Yu Ruoshui, Zhou Dielan and others; there is Shi Xuan who becomes Mo Yuan's disciple; there is Shi Xuan who meets Granny Yu for the first time. When I meet a female ghost, I help people settle down, give them exercises, etc. When he met a knight-errant, he thought of taking her as his apprentice. I met two men, took them in as my disciples, taught them useless exercises, and never saw them again. When I meet a beggar girl, I give her food, drink, and shelter, and then I hand over my skills to the beggar.

Many people said that the first book written by Squid was not good to read, but this one is my favorite. A few small questions: 1. The first 100 chapters discourage you from quitting. This is the case with Squid's books. The difference is that the other books have a bland beginning to show the world view/introduce the setting. The fate of the end is different. At the beginning, it is purely a novice writing and I can't find the feeling. The reading experience is very poor, so just skip it. 2. The writing style has been improved in the later chapters, such as The Journey of Jianghu in I Life. Even at the end of the book, you can still read long fragmented sentences that are not smooth. 3. Some explanations/descriptions appear over and over again. This is probably because the master has not reached the novice stage. 4. The battle plot is too reasonable, the descriptive plot is too bland and is not easy to resonate with, and the logical battle plot is not easy to be sensational. Advantages: Setting and logic have always been Squid's strengths. They say that the mysterious setting is his strength, but personally I think his setting is the most awesome in this book. It can be seen that the author spent a lot of effort to describe the world of immortals in his mind. There is a problem with fairy tale books. If the author is more ambitious and wants to write a logical and self-consistent story, the plot will easily become dull, and everyone will become a fairy. How do conflicts come about? For the sake of conflict of will, conflicts are constantly created? (Xu Gongzi Shengzhi's Lingshan uses Taoist disputes and immortal thoughts to create conflicts, which is more in line with the modern world, but the plot is also more likely to be dull.) The book's firm Taoist heart and the dispute between the Tao are throughout, and the characters' behavior generally does not exceed this framework.

Three brushes, tell the new book friends about your feelings. In terms of writing: Destiny is Squid's debut novel. Squid's writing style in his childhood can be said to be quite immature. The early Middle-earth chapters contained a lot of dry descriptions and settings, which are far less smooth than his later books as the plot and world view unfolded. However, his writing style has also improved visibly since he officially entered the sect. Plot: The Middle-earth chapter is really dry, paying homage to Jin Gu and other traditional martial arts. This was also a point that discouraged people from quitting the book in the early stage. Back then, the book Squid couldn't get signed and was almost canceled. But the plot settings after the Middle-earth chapter are very interesting. There are many foreshadowings, but when you look back at the end, you will find that it has basically come to an end. Settings: A refreshing division of realms, elixirs without regrets, the mysteries of life and death, the four-nine tribulations, and the battle of great avenues. The cultivation system in this book does not pay much attention to a person's qualifications. The most important thing is the character of the mind. The temptations, tests, and pressures of the character are implemented throughout the text. It is a traditional fairy tale that is different from the drug-taking and underworld systems. I think a lot of low-priced books are disparaging of this book, because I came from a certain point and don't know the interests and tastes of the book friends on this website. But after reading some of the swords, this sword, this trick and that trick on the hot list, it is really hard to praise. These books were only read when I was in junior high school and just came into contact with online books. For me, this 12-year-old book is still strong and strong even after 25 years. The so-called poisonous points in the early stage are simply a comparison with the various books on the hot list. Anyway, book friends who like traditional fairy tales and rigorous systems that will not collapse can give it a read.

Long-winded! The same point will appear repeatedly. It's a big deal and it's a big deal to write a bunch of explanations.

A masterpiece, amazing

It's such a big deal. It introduces a lot of nonsense... The author is very capable of making things up, but it's just a pain for the readers to read a bunch of useless nonsense...

Running account. Ordinary. I got up this morning, washed up, went downstairs for a morning jog, and had some breakfast. I saw a lot of people. More than ten years later, so what? This is this novel.

After reading it, I originally thought that the first book of Squid Girl would not be as good as the Lord of the World and the Lord of Mysteries (personally I think Squid has written the best two books). However, after reading it, the writing style and plot control may not be as good as these two books, but the aura is definitely the strongest. Many of the latter two can be seen in this book. This is Squid's first book, and it is also his work from the bottom of his heart.

To be honest, the beginning is quite interesting, but it doesn't work as it's written down. There's a lot of nonsense from passerby A and passerby B. There's also a lot of introductions that don't matter, the dialogue is nondescript, and the character of the protagonist is hard to describe! I'm speechless. Was this written by Squid himself? It's not on the same level as the Arcane God Throne!!!!!!
