The Golden Hairpin

The author has great literary talent, and the story unfolds slowly and interlockingly, especially the first half, which is wonderful. Xiaofu is extremely smart and beautiful, but she suffers a lot. Although as an emperor, she was a bit soft-hearted, but fortunately she was young and had support. Yanyu made a determined effort, and the two of them joined forces. The character Ah Jiu is so heart-breaking. From revenge to paranoia, she loses her heart. In the end, she is no longer a human being. There are many people suffering, and the times cannot be changed easily, even by emperors. The second half feels unreasonable in some places, but the flaws do not hide the good points. Recommended

You can also take a look at the author's emotional writing. Although I don't understand it very well, it's generally normal. But as for the court, it's really hard to describe, confusing, and distorted. Most of the following chapters are just so-so. This book has a score of 7 or 8, which is the most.

Why isn't this one popular? It's so good! The plot is fascinating with twists and turns, the characters are numerous and the portraits are wonderful, and the rhythm is tight and every word is exquisite.

As the author says, every story she writes is unique. This is the most exciting novel I have read in 2025. There is no brainless person, no golden finger, no one is noble and spotless, and no one is inexplicably bad. The description of the male and female protagonists at the beginning may make many people unable to stand it, but later on you will find that both of them are as dazzling as pearls. There are a lot of foreshadowings, but each link is an invincible plot and an invincible novel. I can only say this.

This is my first time writing a book review, so let me tell you briefly. Although the characters of the male and female protagonists may not be my cup of tea (of course this is purely a personal preference), the author has given Tan Muting a complex and three-dimensional character charm. Every time he appears, it is like a slight scratch on the reader's heart, making people want to explore the story behind him. I followed his fate almost holding my breath, eager to know where this mysterious character would end.

This is my first review. The author's writing style is really good. With this kind of writing style, I can still read it well even if the plot behind it makes me feel awkward. In fact, I want to tell many authors that a smooth and reasonable plot, even if it is bland, is much better than a tough one.

I haven't seen such good writing in a long time. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the few works that I have finished reading in recent years. Most of the novels now have fascinating introductions, but the content is really average. Every character in this novel is full of flesh and blood and has its own soul. As a protagonist, I can't say that I have left out everything. There are also helplessness, irreparable regrets, and frustration at being helpless. The moment Tan Muting went offline, I felt sad and confused. The story seemed to have no end, but it seemed to have ended here. It seems perfect, but it is also filled with too many regrets. Yun Huizhu personally killed the last relative in the world, the cup of unfilled tea on the Taifu's table, and the city gate that Uncle Wang failed to enter when he arrived in Beijing twice. These seem to be reality, and the White Dragon Pearl City where Sima Tingyu and the princess live is like the happy utopia constructed by the author...

I think it looks very good. It started off as average, but the more I look at it, the better it looks.

Very nice
