Sweet Blessings from the Farmstead

Wu Qiao had a dream. In it, the Lord of Heaven told her she was the luckiest baby in ten li in every direction. After finishing her milk, Wu Qiao stuck out her little paw in a gesture of disdain. Give me a break! What kind of lucky baby has to share the name “Money-Losing Goods” with her four older sisters?

Unexpectedly, the Lord of Heaven stuck out a finger too. “No, no, no! Zhang Youfu and Li Youfu are nothing compared with the little A-Fu of the Wu family. She’ll net golden carp when fishing, hunt tigers and wolves, and grow ten thousand jin of grain in the fields! The lucky star reincarnated, adored by everyone, and the best of the best will be your punching bags!”

Wu Qiao: “Uh... I’m still a child. I have to do all that at once?!”

The Lord of Heaven: “You don’t have to do anything. Just cry. Once you cry, everything will come to you.”
