I’m the Demon-Slaying Constable of the Suppression Bureau, and I’m Doomed from the Start

For eight hundred years, the Great Qin has been plagued by demons and spirits running rampant. Chu Xuan was a ninth-rank demon-suppressing constable with a bright future ahead of him.

After standing up for a stranger and beating the Left Chancellor’s son to a pulp, he was thrown into prison and sentenced to execution.

By a twist of fate, however, he became an executioner in the Celestial Prison, an executioner acting on Heaven’s behalf.

From then on, he carried out Heaven’s judgment.

Those who defied the Heavenly Dao were executed. Those who disobeyed the law were executed.

Those who failed to distinguish good from evil were executed. Those who offended me were executed.

Follow Heaven and live. Defy me, and face execution.

What? Suppressing demons can grant cultivation? Slaying fiends can yield martial arts techniques?

Killing ghosts can grant physiques? Slaying monsters can trigger sudden enlightenment?

Thus was born an executioner who suppresses demons, slays fiends, cuts down immortals, and kills gods, his might shaking the ages!
