To Hunt Down Evildoers

I... Vaguely remember that when I first joined the criminal police team, I felt numb all over. He is not like those in movies and TV shows. His whole life is boring, including investigating crimes. There is a good example - he is like a bride and groom, 90% of the time is tiring and boring, and only the last few seconds can feel the real significance. The court pronounced the verdict and the criminal was arrested. After a few seconds of satisfaction, what came was the emptiness felt when the victim's family was torn apart. And, exhausted, unable to fight anymore. We can only grit our teeth and persist, and I decided to write this down. It's not about praising the greatness of a career, nor about the dangers of the profession. It is not a closing report, but it records the growth history of an intern. ---Wang Yuan, who joined the police force in 2018
