From the Start, I Became a Dog and Clung to the Cold Palace Mistress

What’s it like to be a mission-taker who’s spent years slacking off, only to be assigned to fix the plot in a mission world, sabotaged by a schemer, and transmigrated into a dog’s body? At death’s door, Su Qiqi found her drive again and set off for Canghai City with her spirit pet. Shen Qingchen gripped Lengyue, his face dark. “Where’s my dog?” Su Qiqi replied helplessly, “It probably got blown away!” Who could have guessed that a moment of weakness for a handsome man, and one impulsive kiss, would blow up the bathtub? She’d only just won Shen Qingchen’s affection by acting cute. Now she’d turned into a person, was standing there completely naked, and was trying to lie straight to his face. Shen Qingchen stabbed hole after hole in her with his sword, making her yelp in pain. Have mercy, hero! I’ll put on a show for you right now. In the secret chamber, Su Qiqi crawled out of a hole. She was caught again as she slithered along the floor. Shen Qingchen: “You again. Why aren’t you wearing clothes?” Su Qiqi: “Because I like sleeping naked.” Shen Qingchen: “Then what are you doing here?” Su Qiqi: “If I said I sleepwalk, would you believe me?” Shen Qingchen drew Lengyue. “Take a guess.” This world was getting stranger and stranger. And the people in it were becoming harder and harder to understand. She’d thought the characters in mission worlds were merely made up of words, rigidly following the plot and trapped by their predetermined endings. But Su Qiqi suddenly realized that every one of them was alive in their own world. They had the power to change their endings, and longed to escape the confines of the written word and take control of their own lives.
