The Mad Python Evolves

[Entry in the January 2020 Silver Ticket Contest]

He died saving a beautiful woman, only to be reborn as a tiny snake with fangs on a fantasy continent.

All around him are golden eagles the size of planes and elephants as big as hills. This world seems incredibly dangerous. What should he do? He has to fight back. He can't just wait to die.

Ding-dong! The path of unlimited devouring and evolution is now open.

Starting as a little snake, he evolves step by step. Who wouldn't want to become the most terrifying being in the Myriad Worlds one day, with all races bowing before him and being eaten by him considered the greatest honor?

A Nine Netherworld Serpent? This jerky is crunchy and delicious.

An Undying Fire Phoenix? This thing is so huge, I'll need two barbecue grills.

An Earth Qilin? I know eighty-one different ways to cook one.
