The Carefree Young Scholar

Tang Ji was a graduate student pursuing two degrees at a university in China. He gave his life saving someone, and thought his brilliant life had ended before it had even begun. Who could have guessed he would transmigrate to ancient times? Since he was already here, he might as well make the best of it. What was the most sought-after title in ancient times? Obviously, a talented scholar! He'd heard you could sleep with beautiful women without spending a single coin. Heh heh heh... As his fame spread, danger came knocking. Mysteries surrounding his birth, jealous rivals, enemies out for his life, and close friends in peril... One problem after another drove him to fight back. “They say a tree that towers above the forest will be cut down by the wind. I’d like to see what kind of evil wind can topple me, Tang Ji!” Later, whenever people mentioned Tang Ji, they would sigh and say, “That talented scholar is not someone you want to mess with!”
